 These are instructions for using the blog:

Tabs:

Make post using Tab title and uses the same label.

Copy url of that post

Go to home page/Design

        choose layout: cross column pages - edit ... scroll down to add new item

        enter new page title

        enter captured url

        save

Gadgets:

Featured Post (right column header)

Go to home page/Design

     Choose layout -- Add a Gadget, search for Featured Post

     Configure Featured Post and enter the post title you want to feature, Save

Book List w Post: work around for Adventures in Consciousness (Only gives book title, author and link to the primary post about the book ... others would comment in comment section

Create a post for the book of choice. Copy the url

Go to home page/Design

     Choose layout -- Add a Gadget, search for Blog Link List

     Configure Gadget ... title and author, url, and save. (where it asks for the blog url, you will enter the post url from above.

Another Possibility could be a simple list of book possibilities ... this would look like the Books of Interest list on our blog and use the List gadget

Go to home page/Design

     Choose layout -- Add a Gadget, search for  List gadget

     Configure Gadget and add new ... title and author, and save.

HTML/Compose view

If you get html text, go to the blog post itself so you can edit it.

At the fire left of the tool bar, there is a pencil icon that will allow you to choose Compose view.

Reformatting

If some of your text gets wonky and you can't fix it, highlight the wonky part and go to 

the 3 dots on the far right ... then go to the far left icon which looks like a T with a slash through it.

Click that. It should remove all the formatting and you can reformat as needed.
